Building the bridge meetings

The Inaugural Building the Bridge Meeting
April 23, 2019

CYDI Director Dr. Susan White, other CYDI members, and Tuscaloosa counselors, social workers, and mental health professionals met for a community stakeholders meeting to discuss mental health care needs for youth in the community.

Key points from the meeting focused on areas of strength in providing youth mental health care services, personal, financial, and systematic barriers to care, and ways to improve the current system.

If you would like more information about the inaugural meeting or would like to get involved with the initiative, email Shane Jones at jones178@ua.edu!
