Driving directions to McMillan Hall

Written directions:
From the South (University Blvd. and DCH Hospital):
  1. Come down University Blvd. to the light at Peter Bryce Blvd. and enter the UA campus there.
    1. If coming from the east (McFarland Blvd/ DCH hospital), when you reach Peter Bryce, Walgreens will be on your left. Turn right onto Peter Bryce Blvd, so that you are heading north onto campus.
    2. If you are coming from the west (Lurleen B Wallace/Bryant-Denny stadium/Denny Chimes), you will turn left onto Peter Bryce Blvd. so you are heading north into campus.
You will pass the University Medical Center on the left followed by tennis courts, then traffic light at Campus Drive. (If you see Paul W Bryant Drive and DCH hospital, you are going the wrong way.)
  1. Stay on Peter Bryce Blvd, around a long left curve, through the N. Campus Way intersection, just through the Hackberry Lane intersection, into the parking lots area. Stay right and drive down into the parking lot until you are across from the entrance doors to McMillan Hall.
  2. If participating in a study: Park in one of the two spots to the right of the entrance path labeled “Reserved CYDI Research Participants Only.” We provide permits.
  3. Enter the front of the building and go past the lobby/waiting area.
From the North (River/ Jack Warner Parkway):
  1. From Jack Warner Parkway, enter campus by turning onto Hackberry Lane (at the traffic light, across from the river Park at Manderson Landing).
    1. This is a left turn onto campus if coming from the east (from McFarland Blvd/82),
    2. This is a right turn onto campus if coming from the west (from Lurleen B Wallace/43, Tuscaloosa Public Library).
  2. Come up the hill to traffic light and bear left on Hackberry Lane.
  3. You’ll come to a 4-way stop and go straight through staying on Hackberry Lane.
  4. You will turn right at the traffic light at Peter Bryce Blvd into the parking lots area. Stay right and drive down into the parking lot until you are across from the entrance doors to McMillan Hall.
  5. If participating in a study: Park in one of the two spots to the right of the entrance path labeled “Reserved CYDI Research Participants Only.” We provide permits.
  6. Enter the front of the building and go past the lobby/waiting area.
From the East (McFarland Blvd/82. onto Campus Drive):
  1. Exit McFarland Blvd. onto Campus Drive heading west toward the University campus, and go to the light at Peter Bryce Blvd. (If you reach Hellen Keller Blvd, you went the wrong way.)
  2. Turn right at the light onto Peter Bryce Blvd.
  3. Take Peter Bryce Blvd all the way around the long left curve, through the N. Campus Way traffic light, just through the Hackberry Lane traffic light, into the parking lots area. Stay right and drive down into the parking lot until you are across from the entrance doors to McMillan Hall.
  4. If participating in a study: Park in one of the two spots to the right of the entrance path labeled “Reserved CYDI Research Participants Only.” We provide permits.
  5. Enter the front of the building and go past the lobby/waiting area.
